Centuries ago, caravans would carry chests of rare spices across the continents, braving storms, pirates and unimaginable danger in order to get their precious cargo home. At Your Spice of Life, we started our journey with a trip to the exotic land known as Haymarket Square, in faraway Boston.
Risking the perils of the local drivers, we explored this strange land. We found many wondrous things, including spices -- rows and racks of herbs and spices, delicious pungent spices that didn't smell at all like the little tins of dust we had in our kitchens.
Back home, we amazed our friends and families, "Did you know that allspice is actually a berry, not 'all spices' mixed together? That parsley actually has a taste? You know, there's more to paprika than the pretty color it leaves on deviled eggs!".
It turns out that most people didn't know about the merits of wonderful, fresh organic herbs and spices. Now that our senses had been awakened, it made us determined to find lots of these delightful things and share them with the whole wide world.
Your Spice of Life was born.
